- Synopsis
- This haunting adaptation of Henry James' nineteenth-century novella, ‘The Turn of the Screw’, sees Miss Giddens (Deborah Kerr) entrusted with the care of two orphaned children at a remote English estate. As the young governess begins to unravel the children's strange behaviour and mysterious visions, she becomes convinced that malevolent spirits possess them.
